I played a joke on some LOST fans... results...

Heh heh heh

Everytime a new ABC site pops up (like if Oceanic Air was a real company, here's the site...) the Losties go nuts looking for hidden clues and video clips.

So I set up http://www.megalottojackpot.com
(surprised no one else did)

I then posted on ONE message board (as denmark shirt... )
that address.

Well it exploded all over the net. Now to be fair, I put a code on there that if you decode it, it says "Tom Aire is French for 'Your Mom'"

meaning, ha-ha, this is a joke.

There are also hidden Caddyshack and Robocop references in there you SHOULD all understand.

Click on the hot spot under the I SAW THE LIGHTS banner too, you'll dig that.
(People didn't know what cosplay was)

But then, the kicker, is that I made the Catbird on a Stick into a Dharma logo.
It's a dumb joke from MXC on Spike TV... read the longer explanation here.

Well that got everyone in a tizzy. When they googled "catbird" they found that there is a real bird NEAR AUSTRALIA (dumb luck on my part) that mimmicks other sounds.

This led people to make posts like this:

"skilled at imitating other birds, animals, and even telephones and other noises"

that could be taken somewhere.
CLONING!

no joke. Actually this whole thing was a joke. Most people got a kick out of it, and showed it to friend (Thanks to all who helped me out here!)

But the people that took it seriously, or got annoyed at multiple posts about it got kinda ticked.

Since I spend a LOT of time on a couple of Lost boards, it was really cool knowing about this and watching the reactions on those boards. It was really hard to keep my mouth zipped.
